Here are a few pictures of special events in our classroom.
First, our class participated in World Math Day and World Spelling Day this month. About 1.57 million students from all over the world competed in the events and we got to be a part of it! The World Spellometer showed 54,985,637 points earned for words spelled correctly, while the Mathometer ticked off a total of 293,571,830 points! After about two months of very hard work, our first nine animal information books have been published! The students were divided up into small groups around the room, so that all nine authors could read their new books aloud and answer questions from their listeners. I was so impressed!
